DIne for a CAuse

Dine for a Cause highlights local organizations raising awareness and funds every Thursday of select months with 10 percent of the proceeds donated to that month’s organization. Since its inception, Hilton West Palm Beach has raised over $150,000 for charitable organizations throughout Palm Beach County. The initiative was created to support the community while offering diners an opportunity to come together for a great meal and conversation.

    The West Palm Beach Library Foundation’s mission is to ensure the life-changing programs, services, and resources offered through the Mandel Public Library remain free and accessible to all.

  • February

    Center for Creative Education leads an educational movement redefining how children and families prepare for success. Our work is guided by four core pillars. The Foundations School is a K–5 independent lab school that blends academics with creativity, family engagement, and social-emotional growth. Karakul-Held Academy provides after-school, and kindergarten-readiness programs across Palm Beach County. Blue Planet Global Education connects classrooms worldwide to foster cultural understanding and global problem-solving. DePorres P.L.A.C.E. (Personal Literacy and Continuing Education) offers free literacy and ESOL tutoring for adults.

    Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

    The global mission of Els for Autism is to transform the lives of people with autism and those who care for them through lifetime services and collaborative partnerships. Els for Autism offers innovative, evidence-based programs for families and individuals across the lifespan in three primary impact areas: Early Intervention & Educational Services, Recreation Services, and Adult Services. The organization serves families around the world, offering virtual services and in-person programs and services at The Els Center of Excellence® campus in Jupiter, Florida.

    Extraordinary Charities’ mission is to ignite community change by empowering small Palm Beach County nonprofits and those they serve to grow and thrive. Our vision is to create a community-wide awareness of the impact of smaller nonprofit organizations in Palm Beach County.

    Compass is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to engage, empower and enrich the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) people and those impacted by HIV and AIDS.

    Selfless Love Foundation (SLF) is dedicated to improving the child welfare system through adoption, independent living, and advocacy. Through collaboration with youth, agency partners, and experts at both state and national levels, SLF is not only changing individual lives but helping to shape a more effective child welfare system.

    The Andrea C.     Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County is a 501(c)(3) organization and an affiliate of a global nonprofit, Habitat for Humanity International serving Palm Beach County. Families and individuals in need of a safe, decent, and affordable housing partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves.     The David A. Burke Foundation was established in 2018 to continue the philanthropic legacy that “Burkie” led throughout his lifetime. The foundation is passionate about paying it forward to the less fortunate and educating the leaders of tomorrow in the South Florida hospitality industry.

    Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League’s mission is to provide shelter to lost, homeless and unwanted animals, to provide spay and neuter and other medical services for companion animals, and to care for, protect, and find quality homes for homeless and neglected companion animals, to advocate animal welfare, community involvement and education to further the bond between people and animals.
